Love, Lauren and Brian
Lauren and Brian met in New York City in the spring of 2012 at Radegast Biergarten in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Both attending a mutual friend's birthday party, Brian noticed a girl across the busy room wearing almost the exact same glasses as him, and thus had to speak with this girl. He struck up a conversation with Lauren; he was enamored... but when he asked for her phone number, she evasively replied "maybe." Undeterred, Brian insisted this was "a yes or no question," and convinced Lauren to say yes. They went on their first official date the next week, and three and a half years later, Brian asked Lauren to marry him - and that was that!
Lauren, the daughter of Rodney Harms and Stephanie Rolley, of Manhattan, KS, moved to New York after graduating from Syracuse University in 2011. Soon thereafter, she began working in the publishing industry as a book cover designer. Brian, the son of Gary and Linda Gilbreath, of Marblehead, MA, moved to New York the day after graduating from Bentley University in spring of 2009, and started his career as a web developer in the entertainment industry.
Currently, Lauren and Brian live and work in New York City, and enjoy exploring the city as well traveling on adventures across the U.S. and abroad.
